Liverpool Confirm Talks Over Albacete Winger

Liverpool have confirmed that they are in talks to sign Albacete winger Mark Gonzalez.
The 20-year-old Chilean international is currently on the sidelines with a cruciate knee ligament injury, but impressed for the Spanish outfit last season.

"We are in discussions with Albacete with a view to bringing the player to the club on August 1 for a season-long loan," club spokesman Ian Cotton told www.liverpoolfc.tv.

"The deal is not yet finalised and would be subject to a work permit being granted."
