Luca Marchegiani is on his way back to Rome, but this time to wear the Giallorossi colours. The 39-year-old’s agent, Givanni Branchini, has in fact already reached an agreement with Roma, even though the contract can only be signed and deposited once Roma’s market is unblocked.
Sensi’s club is in fact still waiting for the appeal result to suspend the ban imposed by Fifa on the incoming transfers, but this will occur towards mid-July.
Once the ban is lifted, Roma will announce the purchase of Marchegiani who will take the role of first keeper and the young Curci will be relegated to the bench.
