Giuseppe Pancaro is no longer an AC Milan player.
The Rossonero club announced on Wednesday that the contract tying them to the former Lazio player was annulled by mutual consent.
”Milan thank Pancaro for his important contribution during his permanence with the Rossoneri,” read a passage of the statement released by the club.
Pancaro won a Serie A title and an Italian Super Cup during his two year stay at Milan.
Sicilian side Messina have been the club most insistent of late on securing his services for next season, but a move to the Premiership can’t be ruled out.

ACF Fiorentina have continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of former Italy defender Giuseppe Pancaro.
Two-year deal
Pancaro has agreed a two-year contract at the Stadio Artemio Franchi after being released by UEFA Champions League runners-up AC Milan at the end of last season. The 33-year-old becomes new coach Cesare Prandelli's third recruit following the loan arrivals of Valencia CF midfielder Stefano Fiore and goalkeeper Sébastien Frey from Parma FC.
