Inter boss Roberto Mancini has revealed that his club could sign Valencia striker Marco Di Vaio.
The Italian outfit are looking for a new forward after allowing Christian Vieri to join city rivals Milan.
"It is not a priority but we are looking for a fifth attacker," Mancio told Sky. "Di Vaio? Yes, it could be him."
Di Vaio would be a suitable option for the Nerazzurri given that he has already briefly played alongside star striker Adriano at Parma in the past.
Di Vaio has been associated with Inter before and would welcome a move back to Serie A, seeing as the World Cup Finals are next summer.
The Lazio youth team product moved to La Liga last summer after Juventus accepted an £8m bid for him.
Another option for the San Siro outfit is Bernardo Corradi, also of Valencia, seeing as he is available.
The Spanish club want to get rid of the Italian international, who has already played for Inter in the past before joining Lazio in 2002. |
