West Ham United are the latest club to be linked with Inter’s unwanted midfielder Edgar Davids.
The Dutchman does not feature in the plans of boss Roberto Mancini and his Nerazzurri stint, after just 12 months, will end this summer.
Whispers suggested that the former Juventus and Milan man was hoping for a move to Spain, after enjoying a stunning six-month loan spell at Barcelona in the past.
However, a number of Premiership outfits are interested in netting the player with West Ham reportedly making an audacious bid for his signature.
Davids, a central midfielder, has also been strongly associated with Middlesbrough and Tottenham.
Inter have tried to get rid of Davids by offering him to Real Madrid in a swap deal with Luis Figo.
The Spaniards declined that offer, even if the Portuguese winger is still expected to arrive at the San Siro before the start of the season. |
