Valencia's Marco Di Vaio has told Inter that he is ready to join the Italian giants this summer.
Nerazzurri boss Roberto Mancini admitted over the weekend that the club were after a new striker, naming the Azzurri player as a possible option.
And now Di Vaio, who only left Serie A outfit Juventus a year ago, is ready to end his La Liga stint.
"I have played in great cities such as Rome (Lazio) and Turin (Juve), now I hope to go to the third," stated the former Parma star.
"Inter? I do sincerely hope that it happens. I was already close to joining them three years ago and it would be great to finally do so now."
The San Siro giants want to add a fifth attacker to their squad following Christian Vieri’s move to city rivals Milan.
They had looked likely to net Stephen Makinwa from Atalanta but the Nigerian joined Palermo instead. |
