Bologna have appointed Renzo Ulivieri as their new Coach.
The experienced tactician arrives for his second spell at the club, having already bossed them between 1994 and 1998.
He took them from Serie C to Serie A in the space of two years and was extremely popular amongst the Rossoblu faithful.
Ulivieri’s previous clubs include Parma, Torino, Cagliari, Napoli and Sampdoria.
He will have a tough job on his hands getting the club back up to Serie A following their relegation last season under Carlo Mazzone.
Several key figures are expected to leave before the start of the season, but Bologna will be hoping that their stars delay any moves.
This is because the Dall’Ara outfit could still find themselves in Italy’s top flight in the new season at the expense of Messina.
The minnows must prove to the League that they can meet the necessary financial requirements so that they can be registered for the new campaign. |
