Sheffield Wednesday have signed former Liverpool winger Richie Partridge on a five-month deal.
Partridge told his new club's official website: "I'm very pleased. This is a massive club and the manager and players have great ambition. Hopefully this season can be a good one for me and Sheffield Wednesday."
Wednesday manager Paul Sturrock added: "Richie has come in and looked very exciting on the wing. I'm pleased to sign him as he can play on both wings and we need competition for places. We're committed to him until Christmas and it's up to him to prove to me that he merits an extension to his contract."
