Swiss-based Italian businessman Gaetano Valenza has made a second attempt to buy Parma Football Club.
Valenza failed in a £25m bid last month but has now offered the same amount following the £18m departure of Alberto Gilardino to Milan.
Valenza, boss of Rialto Holding, was very close to taking control of the Emilia outfit on July 4 but the take-over collapsed at the last minute.
Parma have so far refused to comment on the supposed new bid.
Parma were placed under administration after parent company Parmalat were hit by a financial scandal and have been looking for new owners ever since.
Should Valenza succeed in his bid then there could be some big changes before the start of the season.
He already claimed last month that he was ready to hire former Roma sporting director Franco Baldini and ex-Lecce boss Zdenek Zeman.
Parma’s current Coach is Mario Beretta, who took over from Pietro Carmignani during the summer. |
