The former Parma and Juventus striker now insists he is happy to remain at the Mestalla.
"I have never thought about leaving Valencia," proclaimed the international.
Di Vaio had been linked with a move home , to both Milan clubs, but the player has confirmed his happiness and motivation to remain in Spain.
"My family is happy in Valencia and I have a great desire to win something important with this club."
"I am working hard to earn a regular shirt in this team. I am only thinking of this club and scoring loads of goals."
Di Vaio has been used in a strike partnership with new signing David Villa in some pre-season action, although should playmaker Pablo Aimar come into the frame, as is expected, it is unlikely that new coach Quique Flores would find room for both forwards. |
