Allardyce adopts patient approach
Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has admitted he has been frustrated in his attempts to sign new players over the summer, but has vowed to remain patient.
As he prepares for the new season Allardyce's only signing has been Mexico striker Jared Borgetti.
Allardyce said: "I'm trying hard not to panic or become too desperate.
"I do want to pursue a number of players of the right quality, but I have to resist the temptation to take players just for the sake of it."
