MADRID, Aug 28 (Reuters) - Brief reports of Primera Liga matches played on Sunday:
CADIZ 1 REAL MADRID 2
New signing Robinho revolutionised a Real Madrid side that looked to be heading for a draw against last season's second division champions with a decisive role in his side's winning goal.

Real took the lead against the run of play when Ronaldo squeezed a low shot inside the post in the fourth minute but Cadiz got a deserved equaliser midway through the second half when Argentine striker Matias Pavoni hooked a volley past Iker Casillas.
Real secured the victory five minutes from time when substitute Robinho and Ronaldo combined brilliantly on the edge of the area to carve open the Cadiz defence and allow Raul to poke home into the empty net.
ATLETICO MADRID 0 REAL ZARAGOZA 0
Carlos Bianchi's Atletico created several scoring opportunities against Zaragoza, but none of their forwards were able to take advantage.
Former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman clipped wide after breaking clear in the eighth minute and then hit the post, while Fernando Torres fired straight at the keeper after being put clear by winger Martin Petrov.
Zaragoza were almost as wasteful with striker Sergio Garcia shooting over the bar with the goal at his mercy in the 21st minute after some excellent work by new signing Ewerthon.

CELTA VIGO 2 MALAGA 0
Goals from Argentine midfielder Gustavo Lopez and Brazilian striker Fernando Baiano allowed Celta to celebrate their return to the top flight with an entertaining win in front of their own fans.
Lopez, in his seventh season at the club, gave the Galicians a flying start when he sent an unstoppable left-foot shot fizzing into the roof of the net after a quickly taken free kick in the 10th minute.
Former Malaga striker Baiano added the second two minutes into the second half when he completed a razor-sharp counter-attack with an angled shot.

OSASUNA 2 VILLARREAL 1
Villarreal were brought back down to earth after their success in qualifying for the Champions League group stage with this defeat.
Keeper Ricardo stopped a battery of Villarreal shots to keep the Navarrans in the match early on and then watched as Bernardo Romeo put his side ahead with a header just before the half hour.
Leading striker Diego Forlan equalised for Villarreal early in the second half, racing on to a free kick and steering a measured shot past former Manchester United colleague Ricardo. However, Romeo sealed the win for the home side with a spectacular diving header six minutes later.

ESPANYOL 0 GETAFE 2
Getafe needed 12 attempts to win their first away game last season, but this term achieved the feat in their opening match against an out-of-sorts Espanyol.
Midfielder Jaime Gavilan took advantage of some passive defending from the Espanyol back four to track across the area and fire a fierce drive into the top corner in the 54th minute.
Striker Riki added a second seven minutes later to give new coach Bernd Schuster plenty to celebrate in his first league match in charge.

REAL MALLORCA 0 DEPORTIVO CORUNA 1
A winning start for Depor coach Joaquin Caparros that will provide some compensation for their humiliating 5-1 Intertoto defeat at the hands of Olympique Marseille.
New signing Juanma scored the only goal of the game in the 18th minute when he poked home after Mallorca keeper Miguel Angel Moya spilled the ball in a goalmouth scramble.

SEVILLA 1 RACING SANTANDER 0
Sevilla striker Kepa Blanco, another product of the club's fertile youth system, grabbed the winner for the Andalucians with a glancing header after a great cross from Antonio Lopez on the left just before the half hour.
Sevilla's new signings Frederic Kanoute and Javier Saviola were both given run-outs by new boss Juande Ramos.

ALAVES 0 BARCELONA 0
Argentine international Roberto Bonano frustrated former club Barcelona's hopes of getting their title defence off to a winning start by producing an inspired display in the Alaves goal, stopping everything his old team could throw at him.
Coach Frank Rijkaard's side dominated but Bonano made a succession of top-class saves to keep the Barca strike force at bay and earn his side a point on their return to the top flight.

ATHLETIC BILBAO 3 REAL SOCIEDAD 0
Midfielder Fran Yeste scored the opening goal of the season when he darted on to a through ball from Joseba Etxeberria and fired an angled shot past keeper Asier Riesgo two minutes into the second half.
Four minutes later, young striker Fernando Llorente made it 2-0. He broke down the right before his firm shot ballooned off the foot of midfielder Gaizka Garitano and into the net.
Defender Luis Prieto wrapped up a comfortable win nine minutes from time when he ghosted in at the far post to steer home a low free kick from Tiko.

VALENCIA 1 REAL BETIS 0
Valencia made amends for their midweek defeat by Hamburg SV in the Intertoto Cup with this win at home to Champions League side Betis.
Argentine midfielder Pablo Aimar notched the only goal when he curled in a right-foot strike after neat control inside the area eight minutes after the break.
However, keeper Santiago Canizares did well to stop Betis grabbing a late equaliser.
