Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's injury nightmare is set to go on beyond Christmas - with Sir Alex Ferguson admitting the striker is still way off a Manchester United comeback. The Norwegian has still not return to training with United's first team squad and Ferguson, who brought the player to United in 1996, admits that it is impossible to set a date for 1999 European Cup hero Solskjaer's possible return. He said: "The boy's determination is terrific. When they have that determination they usually get there and I think Ole will get there. But it's difficult to say whether he'll be back pre- or post-Christmas. It will be when he is ready to train with us and that big step isn't there yet. It's a slow process getting back to fitness but we are hopeful he'll be back to play some part of the season. I'm not giving up hope on that."
