Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson has praised chairman Daniel Levy after he found the cash to sign England team-mate Jermaine Jenas from Newcastle United.
The midfielder arrived at White Hart Lane yesterday for £7m, becoming the clubs fifth young England international.
"The chairman sold me the ambition of the club before I signed and it is all coming to fruition very quickly," said Robinson.
"The chairman has put his money where his mouth is. He goes about his business quietly and he is doing very well for Tottenham.
"Jermaine is a great signing for us. He is a very attacking player. He can play on the left or right or just behind the front two and is a proven international as well.
"He is another great addition for Tottenham and it is just another example of the way the club wants to move forward."
Tottenham also boast England stars Ledley King, Michael Carrick and Jermain Defoe in their squad.
