HUGO VIANA: ‘WE ARE GETTING CONFIDENCE TO WIN MORE MATCHES’
Hugo Viana is willing to be a star in Valencia CF. The Portuguese player, who feels very comfortable in our club thanks in part to the presence of Miguel and Marco Caneira, both Portuguese players, thinks that his team-mates are increasingly ‘getting confidence’ to face the matches against Deportivo and Barcelona; ‘I am sure that the match against Deportivo will be great because both teams are very important European teams’. In spite of Caparros’ team great beginning of the current season –they have won 2 out of 2 matches- the international player confides in winning at home ‘because if we continue working this way we will win more matches’.
Viana knows the exigencies of a team like Valencia CF ‘is very hard, you have to play well and win all the matches’. Anyway our player feels more comfortable in the Spanish football ‘where the games are better. In England the players play for the strikers’.
