Riquelme shame at start
Juan Roman Riquelme has expressed his shame at seeing Villarreal at the bottom of Primera Liga.
The talented Argentine is worried about Villarreal's start to the season, which has seen them fail to win so far, after being the surprise packages in the last campaign.
"I feel ashamed to see Villarreal in last position," said Riquelme.
"I can't believe the situation that we are in. In addition, I think that in football the person that doesn't feel shame in a situation like this should go and play another sport.
"I see the table and I am ashamed to see Villarreal in that position.
"We have to gather and talk all together about what is happening.
"We have to get out of this situation as soon as possible and everyone has to see what they are doing right and wrong.
"We haven't been able to win a single match in the four that we have played and that means that we are playing really badly.
"We can't allow ourselves to get wrapped up in what we have done in the past; we have to forget what happened and think that this is a new season.
"Maybe because of what we did in the last season, many people thought that we were like Valencia or Barcelona and that's the wrong way to think.
"If we don't change very soon we are going to suffer all year."
