MONACO, Oct 4 (SW) – Former Bologna and Palermo boss Francesco Guidolin
could be ready to return to management as Didier Deschamps’ replacement at
Ligue 1 strugglers Monaco.

The Italian was meant to manage port club Genoa in Serie A this season,
however following the club’s demotion to Serie C1, Guidolin left before
taking charge of a competitive game.

Now it appears that Monaco could have their new boss, with reports in Italy
emerging that Guidolin could be in place to take charge of Monaco’s next
Ligue 1 encounter on October 15 against Metz.

Guidolin enjoyed a successful campaign last term where he helped guide
Palermo to UEFA Cup qualification.
