Kim Milton Nielsen is adamant there will be no bad feeling when he meets up with Wayne Rooney again in midweek.
The Danish referee will take charge of England's final World Cup qualifier against Poland on Wednesday night when he will be reunited with Rooney.
During Manchester United's UEFA Champions League clash with Villarreal last month, Rooney was sent off by Nielsen after sarcastically applauding in the official's face.
Rooney was hit with a two-match ban for his indiscretion after Nielsen also accused the youngster of swearing at him.
Nielsen has a quick chance to renew acquaintances when Rooney returns from an international suspension to reclaim his place in the England side to face Poland.
But while there is likely to be much interest in how Rooney reacts to seeing Nielsen again, the Dane insists the slate has been wiped clean.
"I will think nothing for Rooney, about Rooney, before the match," commented Nielsen.
"If he acts properly during the match towards me then I will have no need to remember him.
"It is finished for me and we start from zero.
"I will not feel under any extra pressure at Old Trafford.
"I have plenty of experience in dealing with players after I have sent them off in previous games."
