杜夫因為膝傷已退隊
Chelsea winger Damien Duff needs a minor operation on his knee, according to the Irishman's agent.
Duff limped out of Republic of Ireland's win over Cyprus on Saturday and scans showed cartilage damage.
He has already been ruled out of Ireland's critical game with Switzerland on Wednesday and has returned to Stamford Bridge for further treatment.
The Premiership champions are assessing the extent of Duff's injury and he is due to undergo further tests on the problem.
The club have yet to comment on how serious the damage is but the wide man is not expected to require a lengthy lay-off.
His agent Pat Devlin believes Duff will be unavailable for a maximum of three weeks, although he does require surgery to repair the injury.
"Damien does need some type of surgery," Devlin told the Evening Standard.
"I don't think it will be anything too major but as far as I'm aware he will be out for two to three weeks."
