Independiente have moved to quash rumours linking Chelsea with a move for highly-rated striker Sergio Aguero.
Reports in Buenos Aires claim that the Premiership outfit are preparing a €20 million (13.5 million) raid for the 17-year-old, although club secretary Cristian Mattera says that he is unaware of any interest from Stamford Bridge.
"We haven't received any offer, it's not true. No one has sent or asked us anything about Aguero," he declared.
Independiente president Julio Comparada added: "We don't want to sell Aguero and we don't even want to put a price on him until we see which is the real interest of the transfer market."
Should Chelsea try to lure Aguero to West London they will face competition from Internazionale, who are also reportedly keen on the prodigy.
