Real Madrid general manager Arrigo Sacchi has slammed his team, declaring Real are "neither competitive in Europe nor Spain".
Reflecting on this week's defeat by Deportivo La Coruna, Sacchi said: "Madrid, at this moment, is competitive neither in Spain nor in Europe."
"Raul is absolutely right when he says that the first opponent of Real Madrid is Real Madrid. Right now we could not compete with Milan or Juventus in the Champions League."
Sacchi dismissed suggestions that he should replace Vanderlei Luxemburgo as coach.
"That is impossible. Luxemburgo has the confidence of the president."
