Newcastle will make a late decision on whether striker Michael Owen plays as he battles to overcome a groin injury.

But Celestine Babayaro (suspension), Emre and Craig Moore (both hamstring), Stephen Carr (hernia) and Charles N'Zogbia (wrist) are definitely out.

Arsenal's Freddie Ljungberg, Robert Pires, Gilberto, Sol Campbell and goalkeeper Jens Lehmann will return after being rested in midweek.

But forward Jose Antonio Reyes is out with a thigh injury.

唔知雲加會用邊個打右閘?
可能用伊保爾,又可能將托尼移右,中間出辛達路斯.

Why Wenger didn't try to sign Owen

There was mild surprise in the football world when Arsène Wenger did not make a move for Michael Owen earlier this season. However the Arsenal manager, whose side face Owen’s Newcastle on Saturday, argues that Robin van Persie would never have got his opportunity if he had signed the England striker.

"I was tempted,” admitted Wenger at Friday’s pre-match press conference. “But at that time we were on the [Julio] Baptista case where we lost out. I wanted him more because I felt he could play more middle of the park as Vieira had gone. I wanted a multifunctional striker more than an out-and-out striker because I knew that Thierry Henry could give us goals, I hoped Van Persie and Reyes could too.

“At some stage you have to make room for your young players or they never play. If I bring Michael Owen, Van Persie would not be playing today.

“For me it was not a money question. It was really 'do I stick to what I started or do I change direction completely?' I decided to give a chance to my young players because I felt I had to do it this year.

“When you are a young player there is a moment where you have to come in; if you miss that moment you lose the player.”
