MORATTI: "COMPLIMENTS TO MANCINI & THE TEAM"

MILAN - (ANSA) - There has never been any kind of interest in Ronaldo, and once again today Massimo Moratti excluded an eventual return of the Brazilian to Inter. In January, however, another striker will come and he is the Nigerian player Obinna, currently at Chievo. "We already have an agreement and we have concluded all negotiations with Chievo to have him here," Moratti declared.
On the rumours about Ronaldo and the Nerazzurri Curva Nord's protests last night, Moratti confirmed that "we never never heard from him and he has never been in touch. There was nothing, given that we never made any move, so it was just a journalistic theory. It's hard for me to talk badly of Ronaldo but this is the only thing I can say".
Moratti paid his compliments to Mancini and the team after Inter's sixth consecutive victory last night. "There's determination," he explained, "and the mechanisms are working well. Mancini has done well, and if we continue with this mentality and this pleasure we can always go to the stadium with the idea of enjoying ourselves and playing good football."
