Arsenal defender Pascal Cygan has stoked up the heat ahead of Tuesday's clash with Manchester United, live on Sky Sports 1, by claiming Wayne Rooney's major weakness is his brain.
The England striker has been in irrepressible form all season for Sir Alex Ferguson's side but Cygan is confident Arsenal can rile United's creative epicenter.
Rooney's temper has always been a well documented facet of his character and whilst he has kept it under control in the past few months, Cygan still feels an advantage can be garnered by needling the front-man.
''Wayne's weak point is his brain,'' said Cygan recently. 
''Pressure gets to him. Maybe we can work on that when we play United, so he will get sent-off.''
While Cygan remains convinced Rooney is the flawed genius, rather than the complete package, the player himself insists he has has no intention of repeating past sins.
''In the past my temperament has let me down a couple of times,'' said Rooney.
''But I'm a young lad and I want to learn from that. I do not think there will be problems in the future.
