Negotiations between Liverpool and Benfica for winger Simao Sabrosa have stalled after Anfield executives became tired of the Portuguese club constantly trying to raise the transfer fee.
A "take it or leave it" offer has been left on the table by Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry and manager Rafael Benitez is already considering other options.
It is claimed that Benfica are now trying to get more than £10million for the player with Liverpool only prepared to pay around £8million.
