Lazio President Claudio Lotito has been the subject of death threats, it emerged on Tuesday.
Lotito appeared before a judge today to produce evidence in the form of a series of letters and documents making threats to his life.
The Biancocelesti chief has been subjected to a number of jeers and taunts from certain factions of Lazio supporters over recent weeks, but it is not thought that they are related to the death threats.
As well as letters, Lotito has also received anonymous phone calls of a menacing nature, the details of which were also related to judge Italo Ormanni in the presence of his lawyer in Rome this afternoon. |
