Manchester United are stepping up their interest in American sensation Freddy Adu.
United owner Malcolm Glazer sees Adu's signing as crucial to the club's ambitions of cracking the United States market and hopes to seal an agreement with the teenager before the World Cup.

The Daily Star says talks have intensified with Adu's representatives as United attempt to fight off the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid to land the Ghana-born striker.

adu have cap la <-and will be in US Would Cup 06  team so WP is not a problem

but the problem is: he should be free role (likes ronney ) or winger not central...

two free role is middle? Adu and Ronney......

PS Adu can't go Chelsea or Real Madrid because his sponser(Nike?) want him to stay in US to "open the market in US"
