Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has laughed off suggestions that Djibril Cisse is about to be sold.

Asked if Cisse still had a big future at the club, especially following the signing of Robbie Fowler, and Rafa said: "Yes. I say before that Cisse can play as a right-winger if necessary. He's a good striker.

"We are trying to use our players in the best positions for the team. In this case if we play with Robbie for example with Morientes we can use Cisse in the right position, also Crouch. We can manage with the players we have now.

"I was talking with him (Cisse) before the game and he was ok. No problems."
