Fiery Frenchman Eric Cantona has spoken out against Roy Keane by hailing Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher as an 'unbelievable talent'.

Speaking at the launch of a brand of fragrances in his native France; Cantona lavished praise upon the young Scotsman.

"He has all the qualities to be a Manchester United midfielder for years to come. Originally, I must admit that I was unsure of him, but that was when he was playing in a position that was not natural for him.

"Since moving to central midfield, he has looked at home. He is improving with every match and looks an unbelievable talent. Some casual observers may not understand him, but if you know about the game then you know what qualities he'll bring to your team. The beauty is that he's only going to get better as he matures both physically and mentally."

佢打中場中真係比打右邊好好多

好多人話佢廢, 其實我覺得只不過係因為佢既踢法唔起眼

No offence to MU fans here, to me,he might be just decent player for other EPL teams,but do you really think he can make an impact in MU as a central midfielder?

我相信費查就算未必話會係最重心果幾個球員, 佢都會有能力係曼聯中場做一個實用型o既球員, 甚至慢慢成為中場重心

只要唔係打右邊o既話

曼聯中場中既未來係費查 + 奧沙……假如alan無改打防中的話

I didn't mean SAF has to equip his midfield like the star packed RM,but what MU really need so far in that department is some one  who either,
A)a box to box player who can engine the whole team in midfield,someone able to turn defence to attack would be an extra bonus OR
b)a tenacious/hard tackling fighter who can stop play and cover well in front of Rio/Sivestre/Brown.
So far,I can't see Feltcher could be any of the above, thus,I don't think MU can solely rely on his 'unbeliveable talent'as king Cantona stated,rather I would just expect him to get himself improved technically & physically as well in an 'unbelivable speed' to match everyone's expectation on him.

The one in  'A' should be Ballack, while the 2nd one should be Gravesen
See if SAF can make a deal before 0700 HKT

Actually I would say, MU needs a man to distribute the ball well
in Chinese, so-called '派牌'
In the past, Keane did it well
But now, Darren could be the only one who's able to do so
C.Ronaldo and Rooney desperately need someone in the middle to control the pace of the match, if not a man to guide
I cannot tolerate their nonsense 30-yard long shots when they are lagging a goal or two behind.
Unless Alan Smith's vision and ball sense improve rapidly (should be a miracle then)
OR SAF manages to buy someone better than him
Otherwise, Darren Fletcher is indispensible at the time being
