熱刺或簽下梅菲

熱刺有機會在轉會市場關閉之前簽下查爾頓的梅菲。

較早前亦有報導指出，紐卡素亦有興趣羅致該名前利物浦球員。

英傳媒指出，梅菲得不到領隊古比士利重用，因此極可能會轉會。

而另一方面，熱刺領隊祖爾一向都十分欣賞梅菲，希望可以於一月結束前羅致他。另外，亦有傳加特拿可能會成為交易的一部份。

Martin Jol already got Carrick(potentially good)/Jenas(fairly good but not finished)/Davids(expected to have 2 more years in EPL) in central slot,  is it that necessary to pack up Murphy from Chalton? or should he just concentrate on his tactic work to manipulate the player on hand to get European qualification?it's a bit sad to see Spur buying load of player in recent years and let some of them rotten on bench chair or even stand,the transfer strategy from seven sisters is a bit lost indeed.

呢兩場雪一雪又話轉會，咁年中轉會市場交投一定好旺盛lak

Tottenham clinch late Murphy deal
Tottenham have beaten the transfer window deadline to capture midfielder Danny Murphy from Charlton in a deal which could be worth up to £2m.
Spurs have succeeded in capturing the 29-year-old at the second attempt after he chose Charlton ahead of them when he left Liverpool in August 2004.
But Murphy, who scored 10 goals in 64 appearances for the Addicks, became unsettled at the club.
He completed his move just half an hour before the transfer window shut.
Murphy told the Spurs website: "Spurs has always been a club that has attracted me, but whereas previously things didn't work out, this time they have and I am absolutely delighted.
"I am looking forward to playing my part in the team Martin Jol is building."
Spurs sporting director Damien Comolli added: "Danny is an experienced player who is used to playing at the highest level.
"He has a fantastic ability to create chances and we are delighted that we have been able to bring him to the club."
