Lauren to miss rest of the season


Lauren will not play again for Arsenal this season.

The full back missed the defeats against Bolton and West Ham after his knee swelled up. The 29-year-old had been playing with the problem for the past few weeks and tests were conducted yesterday. The results were not good.

“Lauren had surgery last night,” said Arsène Wenger in his pre-game press conference on Friday. “He will be out for the rest of the season.”
