Newcastle could face punishment
League managers association vice-chairman Frank Clark has revealed that Newcastle must name a new manager by the 27th of April.
Current caretaker manager Glenn Roeder doesn't have a Pro Licence qualification and neither does assistant Alan Shearer.
The pair can stay in charge for up to 12 weeks but if a new manager isn't named after that, Newcastle will be punished.
"Neither Glenn or Alan have their Pro Licence qualification," said Clark.
"It means Newcastle can carry on with a temporary arrangement for 12 weeks."
"After that, they are breaking Premier League regulations."
