Edu close to return

Former Arsenal player Edu has begun training with Valencia for the first time this season after recovering from a horrific knee injury.
The Brazilian midfielder damaged his ligaments in pre-season training just days after joining the Spanish club, and is still waiting to make an appearance for the club.
Edu had spent the last six weeks training alone, but has now started training with the full squad in order to regain full fitness.
The player is now determined to repay the faith shown in him by the club and the supporters during his recuperation.
He told the Valencia club magazine: "The fans are always stopping to speak to me, wishing me well and saying they are pleased I am here.
"For a player that is very important, especially as I have not played for the team.
"I feel good, assured, I am very pleased that everyone has confidence in me, because that make me feel at ease."
"I want to start playing and to show people what I can do."
Edu signed for The Che in the summer following four seasons in Highbury where he won two Premiership titles. |
