Reyes should be fit for Real game  

Arsenal striker Jose Reyes says he could be fit for the clash with Real Madrid after learning that his leg injury is not as bad as first feared.

Reyes was stretchered off in the 1-1 draw with Bolton on Saturday after a challenge with Abdoulaye Faye.

It was feared that the 21-year-old had broken his ankle but Reyes says he only suffered heavy bruising.

"Luckily it's bruised but it could have been worse. I am grateful I haven't broken anything," he told The Sun.

"My foot is swollen and it really hurts, but at least my ankle is not broken.

"It's going to be treated as a bad knock and I will do everything possible to be ready for the game against Real Madrid.

"I wouldn't miss that game for anything in the world."

Arsenal face Real in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals in Spain on 21 February.
