Manchester United could revive their interest in AC Milan midfielder Johann Vogel in the summer - according to leading Italian journalist Filippo Ricci.
United failed with a January transfer window swoop to sign the Swiss international from the San Siro, but Ricci believes a summer move could still be on the cards.
"He is nowhere near Milan's first team and this could potentially be a good move," Ricci exclusively told clubcall.
"After the World Cup everything could change, if he does well or fails it could be different.
"I was expecting a loan move to Manchester United. For the last 5 or 6 seasons he was playing on a regular basis for PSV Eindhoven, now at Milan he has got three games.
"He deserves to play as he is a very good player, so when the opportunity came up I thought it would have been perfect for both parties - Manchester United and AC Milan." |
