Lovely Plan, almost 80% silmilar to my trip last year when I were inbetween job,my route was,
四川-雲南-西藏-新疆-Kazakstan-Uzebekstan-新疆-青海 (all the way by bus and hitchhiking),but I must say the most difficult part s/b from 西藏去新疆,as there were no scheduled bus,and this so called high way is famously known as the highest-altitude traffic route in average 5,000 sth KM above sea level...but the view was just so fantastic....and snowy in Aug. |

,could't agree more,with the new railway bulit,flood with the new value of judgement and material, gone is the old tradition and culture of the local Tibetan...Will the Tibetan kids be so innocent like them even if they got a rock as their only toy?
