Manchester United - Shock Cahill swoop planned?

Manchester United are reportedly being linked with a shock move for Everton midfielder Tim Cahill.

Reds boss Sir Alex Ferguson will sign two midfielders in the summer, and the Australian international has emerged as a surprise target.

Cahill's progress with the Toffees has been sensational, and has now established himself as one of the best free-scoring midfielders in the division.

Despite United being linked with Michael Ballack, Aldo Duscher and Juan Roman Riquelme it is believed the former Millwall star is on their wanted list.
