Fergie linked to La Liga ace
United are being linked with a move for Valencia midfielder Pablo Aimar after it was revealed the player could be on the move.
The Argentina international is reported to have had a fall out with the Valencia coach Quique Flores, who could be ready to cash in on the playmaker as soon as the transfer window re-opens.
Finding two new midfielders is high on Ferguson's wish list and although a replacement for Roy Keane is the number one priority, he is also keen to strengthen his attacking hand and Aimar would fit the bill perfectly.
A whole host of midfielders including the likes of Juan Roman Riquelme are being linked with a move to the club as Fergie scours the market looking for new talent.
If the boss does make a move for Aimar he could face strong competition from arch rivals Liverpool who are also tracking the player. Rafael Benitez knows all about the player following his time at Valencia and is also said to be in the hunt land him. |
