Trabelsi has Inter medical Wednesday 12 April, 2006

Hatem Trabelsi is on the verge of becoming an Inter player after the Ajax full-back reportedly passed a medical with the Italian club.
Trabelsi has been linked with a host of top European outfits after making it clear that he would be leaving Holland once his contract expires in the summer.
Now whispers in the peninsula on Wednesday suggest that Inter are in pole position to land the Tunisian international.
Trabelsi, who has played 32 times for Ajax this term after recovering from injury, was believed to have been in Milan on Tuesday.
Inter haven’t signed him yet though as they still have to resolve a few issues regarding his non EU status.
However, sources close to the club are confident that the problems with be ironed out and Trabelsi will wear the Nerazzurri shirt next term.
Inter have already bought two defensive players ahead of the new campaign in the form of Brazilian reinforcements Maxwell and Maicon.
Maxwell is an attacking wing-back who joined Empoli in January from Ajax with the help of the Milan giants.
Maicon, meanwhile, is currently plying his trade in Ligue 1 with Francesco Guidolin’s Monaco outfit.
