Newcastle table offer to Inter Milan coach Mancini
- April 18, 2006

Newcastle United have reportedly tabled a three-year contract offer to Inter
Milan coach Roberto Mancini.

It's emerged today that Mancini has in front of him a ￡2.75 million-a-year
deal from Newcastle to takeover the management reigns next season.
Mancini has already declared this month that he intends to move abroad once
he leaves Inter and it's understood he is keen to work in England.
Frustrated by the lack of freedom he has on transfers at Inter, working as a
club manager in England appeals to Mancini, where he knows he would not only
be responsible for coaching, but also for transfers coming in and out of the
club.
The former Leicester City striker has a year left on his Inter deal, but is
under increasing pressure after elimination from the Champions League and
last week's derby defeat to AC Milan.

Inter Milan to focus on Italian signings
- April 18, 2006

Inter Milan are set to sign an Italian striker in the summer.

Inter patron Massimo Moratti and his technical team have agreed they must
bring more Italians to the club after the disappointing return from
close-season signings Walter Samuel and David Pizarro this term.
Livorno captain Cristian Lucarelli tops Moratti's shopping list, though
Vincenzo Iaquinta (Udinese), Francesco Tavano (Empoli) and Andrea Caracciolo
(Palermo) are also being considered.

Inter Milan hope for U-turn from Zanetti, Materazzi
- April 18, 2006

Inter Milan management are hoping to hang onto Italy international pair
Marco Materazzi and Cristiano Zanetti.
Both players have been linked to summer exits, with Zanetti a Bosman target
for Juventus and Materazzi being chased by Villarreal.
But the pair have enjoyed more first team action in recent weeks and Inter
management's decision to build a more 'Italian dominated' squad for next
season could convince them to stay.

fr:yahoo.com.hk--4月17日消息，據意大利媒體報道，國際米蘭現在正在為主教練曼奇尼尋找替代者，他們相中了費倫天拿主教練普蘭德利和祖雲達斯主教練卡佩羅。

國際米蘭本賽季的成績又一次令人失望，冠軍聯賽中被名不見經傳的西甲球隊泰比利亞雷爾淘汰出四強，意甲聯賽中早早的退出了冠軍的爭奪，在上周的米蘭德比中又被AC米蘭擊敗，聯賽亞軍甚至都成了奢望，他們僅僅在意大利杯的比賽中打進了決賽，不過這顯然是不夠的。

國米老板J.摩拉蒂對此成績非常失望，而主教練曼奇尼也於日前表示壓力太大，厭倦了意大利的足球環境，有意到國外執教，所以為球隊尋找新的主教練成為了國米俱樂部的大事。

普蘭德利本賽季帶領費倫天拿表現出色，成為聯賽進步最大的球隊，他們很有可能從上賽季的保級隊而成為取得冠軍杯參賽資格的一流強隊，普蘭德利的執教水準得到了充分展現，同時也引起了國際米蘭的注意。

而祖雲達斯的主教練卡佩羅則是國米的另一目標，雖然帶領祖雲在聯賽中取得了好成績，但是球隊在冠軍杯中的拙劣表現卻令球迷不滿，所以如果卡佩羅下賽季離開祖雲也不會令人意外。除了國米之外，皇家馬德裡也在等著卡佩羅。
