Roma, Inter and Milan have all made contact with Lecce with regard to hotshot Mirko Vucinic, the club have confirmed.
The Serbia and Montenegro striker will leave the Stadio Via Del Mare in the summer following their relegation to Serie B.
Although the capital outfit were believed to have been in pole position, the San Siro pair are also in the queue.
“Roma and Inter are the clubs who have shown the most interest in him,” director general Carlo Regalia told the Guerin Sportivo magazine.
“Milan have also asked for information on Mirko too.”
The youngster, born in 1983, initially caught the eye of clubs last season when he netted 19 goals in 28 games under Zdenek Zeman.
Although he has been less prolific this term, the highly-rated player is still very desirable on the transfer market.
“We have set a fee of £8.5m, even if we have yet to start any real negotiations with any club for him,” concluded the Giallorossi official. |
