Denilson waiting for follow-up from Celtic
Denilson's agent hopes Celtic resurrect their initial interest in the Brazilian.
The 28-year-old winger is out of contract at Bordeaux, but the French club claim the Bank of Scotland Premier League champions and Tottenham are in 'contact' with the player.
Agent Antonio Barrera claims Celtic made an initial approach but have not been in touch since.
'I got a call 25 days ago from someone working on behalf of Celtic and we spoke about Denilson but we have received no offer from the club and there's been nothing since,' he said.
'I don't know if they are thinking about making a move for Denilson or they have moved on to other players.
'I know Celtic are making enquiries about other players as we have had other enquiries from other clubs.
'We are free of a club now, after his Bordeaux contract expired, and he is obviously a top-class player who will attract interest from some of the top clubs.
'We are in no rush to find a new club but we would invite Celtic to speak about a move and make us an offer.'
Denilson became the world's most expensive player in 1998 when Real Betis splashed out £21.5million to sign him from Sao Paulo and Celtic may have been deterred by his wage demands.
