Wigan star Pascal Chimbonda has confirmed he will put his club future onto the back-burner until after the World Cup finals.
The France star's future at Wigan is in some doubt, as he handed in a transfer request shortly after the final game of the season.
Tottenham are keen on recruiting the rampaging full back, but Wigan have warned that it will take a sizeable offer to prise the defender away from The JJB Stadium.
With Wigan likely to dig their heels in, Chimbonda could be set for a long summer. He is aware his situation is attracting attention, but is determined to keep his focus ahead of the World Cup finals.
"It is not difficult to put it out of my mind," he said on Sky Sports News.
"I am concentrating on the World Cup and nothing will distract me from that.
"I will think about my future after the World Cup.
"At the moment I am only thinking about Germany."
