The Italian Football Federation announce that verdicts on match-fixing trial involving Juventus, AC Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina will be read by Federal Appeals Commission after 6pm Irish time today (7pm local time).
The announcement regarding the fate of the Serie A clubs, as well as the 25 people under investigation, will be read by the Federal Appeals Commission president Cesare Ruperto in Rome’s Parco dei Principi hotel.
Television broadcasters and radio stations will not be allowed to transmit the verdict live.
A report in an Italian newspaper claims that the result of the investigation will relegate all clubs but AC Milan, who will remain in Serie A, albeit on reduced points. |
