意大利鐵腰加盟西甲升班馬 羅馬老將曾寫就忠臣佳話

fr:sina.com.hk--　據路透社報道，西甲新軍列萬特將迎來一位前意大利國腳，他就是羅馬隊的後腰達米亞諾-托馬西。

　　32歲的托馬西出道於維羅納隊，1996-1997賽季開始效力於羅馬隊，並在2002年世界盃時入選了意大利國家隊，參加了韓日世界盃。之後由於傷病，托馬西的狀態有所下降，但在羅馬隊成績不佳的時刻，托馬西毅然返回俱樂部，並且與羅馬隊簽訂了一份“最低工資”的合同。2005-2006賽季，托馬西共為羅馬隊出場38次，在聯賽和杯賽中各有2個進球。在托迪受傷的日子里，托馬西一度成為羅馬隊場上的精神領袖。在現在，托馬西決定離開羅馬隊，他將來到西乙的升班馬發揮余熱。

　　列萬特上賽季以西乙第三名的身份升入了甲級，在重新升入甲級之後，列萬特隊將目標定為了保住甲級資格，俱樂部已經開始四處搜羅球星。目前與法國中場羅伯特和後衛德胡簽約。而對於托馬西的到來，俱樂部主席迪比度-比利亞羅爾顯得有些迫不及待。比利亞羅爾今天說：“托馬西已經成為了列萬特的球員，我們希望他明天就能來到華倫西亞完成簽約。”

Tommasi denies Levante deal Thursday 20 July, 2006

Free agent Damiano Tommasi has denied reports that he’s already agreed to join Spanish club Levante.

The outfit did suggest that the midfielder would be joining them just hours after he confirmed his Roma departure, but he’s since dismissed that suggestion.

“I just want to confirm what my agent Andrea Pretti has said, we have received some offers but nothing concrete,” stated Tommasi.

“I’m with my family right now and we are evaluating whether an experience abroad is possible or not,” he added.

“I’m in no rush. I hope to be the first, or one of the first, to announce any eventual new destination.”

The likeable midfielder, famed for his charity work, has only played for two clubs in his career – Verona and Roma.

He moved to the Stadio Olimpico in 1996 and was part of their 2001 Scudetto winning side. He ended his Giallorossi stint with 14 goals in 263 League games.

Tommasi, 32, also hit the headlines last term when he signed a minimum wage contract with Roma – worth just over £1,000 a month – after missing a year of the game with knee ligament damage.

The former Italian international has also been paired with clubs in England and a possible return to Verona.
