Real Madrid are set to clinch the signing of Osasuna midfielder Raul Garcia.
Osasuna president Patxi Izco has agreed to negotiate a fee with Real for the midfielder below his current £16 million buyout clause.
Raul could become Real president Ramon Calderon's first signing after he skipped training yesterday to discuss the move with agent, Jose Antonio Martin.
The deal with Real Madrid will see Raul spend the coming season on-loan at Osasuna before officially joining his new club for the start of season 2007/08.
Arsenal have told Real Madrid they must include Robinho and Julio Baptista in their bid if they want Cesc Fabregas.
Marca says Real Madrid made fresh contact with Arsenal this morning about the availability of Cesc and were informed a deal could be done - but only if Robinho and Baptista were included in the operation.

Juventus could make a quick profit over midfielder Christian Zanetti.
Zanetti only moved to Juve this summer from Inter Milan on a Bosman, but could follow Fabio Capello to Real Madrid.
Capello demanded Zanetti's signing while in charge at Juve last season and it's understood he's instructed Real chief Franco Baldini to try for the midfielder in the coming days.
