Liverpool winger Mark Gonzalez has been speaking about his first few weeks at the club.
His work permit problems have been resolved and he's finally seen some action as a bona fide Liverpool player.
Gonzalez said: "I will play wherever Rafael Benitez wants me to play but my natural position is on the left and above all I offer pace.
"My game based on speed the ability to get the penalty area, to score goals.
"Everyone, even in Chile and in Spain, calls me Speedy - because of my surname obviously, but also because of my speed.
"I think the English style will suit me. It's faster, stronger, more powerful. Everyone goes in hard all the time, even in training.
"It's not the same in Spain, you can really feel the difference immediately. I like it, but I am also going to have to adapt - to the training pitch and to driving on the wrong side of the road!
"I've been suprised by my team-mates because at any club there's one or two who are a bit colder but there hasn't been this case.
"Everyone has been very sincere, no one pretends to be your best mate; it's genuine. Everyone gets on, although quite honestly with their accents I struggle to understand a word Robbie Fowler and Craig Bellamy say!"
加油,我對你都幾有期望 |
