波歷克表示他加盟車路士將會放棄個人主義，願意服從領隊摩連奴的安排。

他強調希望替球隊爭取理想的成績，表示陣中擁有不少高質素球員，未必能夠擔任其最擅長的領軍工作。

波歷克週二正式公布加盟，並獲分配其在利華古遜、拜仁慕尼黑均一直使用的13 號球衣。

他認為車路士所有球員均目標一致，就是希望盡攬所有錦標。

首次踏足英格蘭球壇，波歷克坦言是一個重大的挑戰，而他亦希望盡快能夠融入球隊中爭取正選一席。

Chelsea deliver Gallas shirt snub

William Gallas' future at Chelsea seems increasingly uncertain after his
number 13 shirt was given to Michael Ballack.

"It is not possible for them to give Ballack the number 13 shirt without
talking to William first," said Gallas' agent Pierre Frelot.

Gallas, 28, was told not to join the club on their pre-season tour of the
USA after failing to report to training in Los Angeles on Monday.

Ballack was originally told that he would be given the number 19 shirt.

And Frelot added: "William has been wearing that shirt for five years and it
is the shirt he expects to be in.

"As far as we are concerned William's absence (from training) is still a
misunderstanding.

"I am surprised they haven't waited to hear the explanation of the player in
person first before releasing a statement and taking action against him."

Gallas joined Chelsea from Marseille in 2001 - and has been in the number 13
shirt since then.
