Park out for three months

Ji-sung Park is expected to be out for three months after tearing ligaments in his left ankle.

The club confirmed on Wednesday that the 25-year-old midfielder will undergo an operation on the injury on Thursday.

It means the Korean midfielder, who has made 49 appearances for the Reds since joining from PSV Eindhoven in July 2005, will be out of action until Christmas.
