Arsenal captain Thierry Henry is set to return to the fray as the Gunners look for a first league win at the Emirates.

Fellow forward Robin van Persie is also available after injury, but Theo Walcott is a doubt having picked up a shoulder knock in a reserve outing.

Sheffield United travel south short on numbers, with nine players out.

Keeper Paddy Kenny, midfielders Michael Tonge and Nick Montgomery and strikers Danny Webber, Steve Kabba and Neil Shipperley are among the casualties.

Arsenal striker Thierry Henry:

"I am fit again and can play. The foot injury stopped my progression but I have to be ready.
"We just have to score early then finally we can use the width of the pitch and try to play the game we can."

Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock:

"I never thought I would achieve managing in 1,000 games.
"It is just a great achievement and when I look back to managing in the Sheffield Sunday league.

"Then I moved into the League. I've had some fantastic times and one or two low times.

"But it's just great to be in the Premiership because I never thought it would be as good as it is."
